General Math concept: Slope - We spent a lot of time going over this, so hopefully you guys are completely clear on this:)

Science: Plants! (We went over a lot of information, so make sure you're reviewing your stuff!)

Meeting#5

Here is what we learned in our fifth meeting 10/24:

Number Sense: Multiplying by 101 trick, Multiplying by 1001 trick, and Multiplying by 15 trick

General Math concept: Slope - We ran a little short on time while explaining this, so when you're doing the homework and extra practice, make sure that you fully understand the material. Use the presentation below and online resources such as Khan Academy. We will go over slope again next class, as it is such an important concept.

Meeting #1!

Thank you for making the first meeting so successful!

It was great to see the enthusiasm in all the students and we hope this enthusiasm continues throughout the school year.
